Gelli Plate workshop
Gelli plate is a seriously fast, seriously fun and seriously addictive form of print making.
Gelli plate is a soft press which takes on the impression of textures and shapes. During the workshop you will explore ways to create textured surfaces, mono prints and multi-layered images. You will produce a number of prints that can be used as illustrations, backgrounds for drawings, cards or simply as prints to be framed.

Dry Point Etching Workshop
During the workshop you will create your own dry point etching plate and will experiment with ways of inking up, using colour and chine collee.
You will produce a number of prints exploring ways to create different moods through the application of ink, rubbing away and overlaying imagery.
You will be guided by the tutor who will help you realise your ideas and get the most out of the experience.
This will be a fun introduction to various techniques that will help you to generate ideas through the act of making and sharing.

Block Printing Workshop
During the workshop you will make several small sized blocks to be used in conjunction with each other. This can be explored to generate a number of different designs to create a series of vignettes, pictures, surface patterns and cards.
You will experiment with different layouts, add to your designs using found objects and try out different colour combinations to make your images stand out on the page.
